Evan is a physician who became a certified coder, compliance specialist, and medical auditor. It started with an accounting degree from Brigham Young University in 2000, he then became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003 when he graduated as valedictorian of Palmer College of Chiropractic. And, later, he was looking for something fun to do, so he picked up a Master's of Business Administration.
In his own practice he learned the clinical side of insurance coding by documenting patient care, submitting claims and appeals, auditing, and facing the everyday challenges that affect clinics and health care professionals. To better understand this aspect of the business, he became a certification junkie. They include:

He teaches continuing education programs around the country and he has published dozens of articles in many trade journals. He is the Clinical Director for PayDC Software, with solutions for Chiropractic and integrated physical medicine practices.
