Every Provider needs to know their Health Care Provider Taxonomy Codes. The Taxonomy Codes define the provider type, classification, and area of specialization.

To locate your provider type:

• Click on the link in the Reference section below to go to the WPC Healthcare website and their Health Care Code Lists
• Click on [Health Care Provider Taxonomy Code Set] in their list
• Use Ctrl-F to bring up the search box
• Type in your specialty
• If the search doesn't locate your specialty, just scroll down to locate it.
